Melamine Cabinets

Melamine cabinets are made by sealing a base material – usually pressed wood, medium density fiberboard, or plywood – between two layers of resin creating a durable, colorfast, and scratch resistant surface.

Melamine is a clear resin meaning whatever you put between the coatings is what you’ll see so these cabinets are very customizable. Some of the more common substrate (base) choices we work with are maple, cherry, or oak wood on a flat, slab, or raised panel door or drawer. Our paint, stain, or glazing options allow us to match any color.
